The self-organised picnic is accompanied with discussions, brainstormings, of course food and interactive boards. This event on is part of our new sticker-campaign „All too pricy?!“ and aims to present it but as well to bring into the public discourse the current status of inflation and the capitalistic crisis.
We would like to create a space where more individuals and groups which struggle with the prices and with all the aspects of the crisis, can come together, network and create a ground for possibly working together in the future. As well, for people who will be reached by the stickers -and not only- to get to know more groups /individuals than our open assembly and get active on the topic!
In this event there will be inputs from the open assembly and presentations from other groups which are focused on the struggle around the crisis and come from diverse political activities and neighborhoods. As well as tasty foods, drinks and hopefully good weather!
After the picnic, there will be a solidarity bar at New Yorck.
What we want from you?
Firstly to get to know you and start supporting each other!
We would be really happy to meet you there and discuss together about the current development of the inflation and the crisis and what can we do together in order to counter it. You are also invited to cook with some of the individuals of the open assembly in the evening before (15.9.2023) at 19:00 at NewYorck Bethanien – we will prepare the food for the day after but also come together for a dinner. Feel welcome to join us on the cooking date or bring also some food to the picnic on the 16.9 !
